A family history
I am Brunella, the owner of Rooftop 19 and by welcoming you to this apartment, together with Davide, I want to convey my love for this house and my land.
The story of this house is the story of my big family, consisting of uncles and cousins. Aunt Nannina lived here with her sons Antonio, Joachim, Philip and Anna. The door of Auntie’s house was always open to all of us. On the terrace, around the table, summer days passed simply and happily: we played games, ate, talked, and occupied our time making tomato and eggplant preserves, drying zucchini, tomatoes, figs, and nuts. In this family gathering place adults and children alike found their dimension of serene everyday life.
The many photos taken on this terrace are testimony to this.
We welcome you to this place with a happy history, whose walls in the silence still speak of simple and authentic feelings, of values that survive beyond all time. May you experience, here, a time of inner peace!
